familiar sounds
Returning home with a stop in Miami
for another surprising look
at my childhood home
And home to Richmond
with a yard full of more surprises

| the beautiful hydrangea |

| and the crown jewel, hiding in the corner
All paradise, all bearing the life and loss of each place,
And summer, time to stop and look
and listen.
